Making Farmville Run Faster

How do i make my laptop faster?


I have a MSI GX630 gaming laptop. Recently, whenever I am using the internet (regular Safari or Internet Explorer) loading pages becomes painfully slow. Apps on Facebook (i.e.farmville or other flash games) become ridiculously laggy.

I dont havea ton of programs running, just 3 messengers that stay in the "tray". How can i speed upmy laptop's internet performance?
btw, its not my internet provider. The rest of my family has great internet access on their own laptops.

does this have anything to do with the C drive memory (mine is nearly full)?

Possibly. Try deleting some things you don't need. I know it seems like you need every single thing you've got, but I was amazed at all that I deleted when I went through my hard drive.

Uninstall every program that you don't use often. If it comes in a "portable" (USB version) app, try that out and keep it on a USB drive.

Move rarely-used files that you still want to keep, put them on an external hard drive. If you don't have one, skip this step.

Download CCleaner, and let it delete everything it wants to. Check all the boxes that don't give you a warning for every app. Also use CCleaner to clear out your registry. When asked if you want to back up your changes, don't bother.

Download JkDefrag (NOT MyDefrag!!!). Run it, set it as your screensaver. All of that. Make sure your hard drive stays defragged.

All that should help a lot.
